Hallow's End is over, and we had a blast! Even though some customes went horribly wrong *coughs*, there were many fantastic outfits. Thanks to all who attended, particularly to the many horde-members who joined us for the storytelling! Some pictures are here.

Amazingly, it has already been two years since the Hope of Azeroth was founded! A personal thank you to the nice people I met during this time. They were two amazing years!

Taking a small break from organizing events at the moment, the Hopes have been doing a bit of travelling. Last week we visited Dun Morogh, this week we travelled deep into the mountains of Stonetalon Peak, where we examined an abandoned construction-site. Though there are other places in the Stonetalon Mountains that are still being plagued by the Venture Co., this site at least shows that nature can - and will - rise up against those who seek to destroy it.

The dark cold of Karazhan was momentarily lifted by an even darker thing: the Hopes "singing" a happy birthday song for Sarae. Congratulations, and may there be many more birthdays to celebrate!

Tonight, we took a small trip to the ancient cavern-complex in Tanaris. The Brood of Nozdormu eyed us suspiciously, but apparently decided we were no threat to Time. Inside the cave, we were greeted by many strange creatures, and even received a small tour. Also, master Mordekie Drake joined the Hope tonight. May his time with us be joyful!

Joyous day! After many months of keeping the egg safe, it finally hatched today! The cutest little murloc you can imagine came out of the egg, and I named it Murgli. I will teach it everything a little murloc needs to know, except the violence and cruelty ofcourse.!

With contacts to the Draenei already established, now was the time for us to visit the great ship Exodar and see if we could provide our new allies with any kind of assistance. We were welcomed warmly by a most talkative Draenei, Cranos, who gave us a grand tour of the vessel!

Only days after their vessel crashlanded into Azeroth, envoys of the Draenei have already been sent out all over the world. Some of these envoys now join our ranks!

We had to postpone it TWICE but tonight we finally will have our Welcome the Winter ritual! Join us at 21.00 in Winterspring, where we will depart from Everlook and express our warmest greetings to the cold season!

For the past few years we have celebrated a strenuous peace between the people of the Alliance and the people of the Horde. Ofcourse there have been border-incidents and skirmishes; terrible happenings that cost many a person his life. But always these fights were small and relatively contained. Recent events, however, have seen a marked change in this matter. Spurred on by what is undoubtedly a belief that what they do is right, people from both sides see fit to once again steer straight to open warfare.To commemorate that every life - EVERY life, be it human or orc - is precious, we would like to invite people to join us in a small meeting outside the Stormwind Cathedral, this thursday at 21.00.It may be too late to avert the winds of war, but perhaps we can at least make people remember that war is *never* a glorious thing, and should be avoided, if at all possible.

Last sunday we had a lovely picknick with our friends of the Ari Scara. Orcs and humans, gnomes and tauren, night elves and... er... ah... trolls sat together and had a merry time. I hope we can repeat this soon!

To further increase our understanding of the people of Azeroth, we sent teams of Hopes to seek audiences with the four Alliance Leaders and if possible, have an interview with them. Esbalda and Ellumar visited King Bronzebeard, Nuran, Dwaelin and Cassandria payed their respects to Priestess Tyrande, Iahu, Sylanar and Elronir sneaked into the palace of Child-King Anduin and Azurik and Moongage took some of the precious time of High Tinker Mekkatorque. To our great joy, all four notables were found willing to answer a few polite questions, and so our four teams returned with many a tale to tell!
